Answers you can check. Or an honest “I couldn’t find that.”
SiteMind answers only from your content, links every answer to its source and says so when it can’t find something.
How answers stay grounded. Built into every reply.
Two kinds of search. Each question is matched by meaning and by exact words, and the two rankings are combined, so product names and codes are found as well as paraphrases.
A relevance floor. Passages below a minimum match score are never used. When nothing clears it, the assistant says it couldn’t find the answer.
A source on every answer. Answers link to the pages they used, so visitors and your team can check them in one click.
Strict or helpful. In strict mode, a question without an answer gets one fixed sentence. In helpful mode, the assistant also points to related pages or your team.
Fixed answers. Set word-for-word replies for questions where the wording has to be exact.
Ratings from visitors. Visitors can rate answers, so you can see which ones need a better source.
How it works. Three steps.
The question is searched
SiteMind searches your passages by meaning and by keyword at the same time.
Weak matches are dropped
Only passages above the relevance floor reach the model, with instructions to answer from them alone.
The answer cites its source
The reply streams to the visitor with links to the pages it used.
Compared with a typical chatbot. Where it shows.
| Many chatbots | SiteMind | |
|---|---|---|
| Nothing in your content matches | Guesses from general knowledge. | Says it couldn’t find that information. |
| Product names and codes | Meaning-only search can miss exact terms. | Keyword search runs alongside meaning search. |
| Checking an answer | No source shown. | A link to the page it used. |
Accuracy and sources. Questions, answered plainly.
Something we didn’t cover? Ask us and we’ll answer it.
Ask a questionYes. Like any AI it can misread a passage, which is why every answer links to its source and why you can edit any passage in your knowledge base. It is instructed to answer only from your content and never to guess.
It replies “I couldn’t find that information on the website.” In helpful mode it can also point the visitor to related pages or to your team.
